Introductions
Collaboration is very important in an online learning environment. With that in mind, it is critical that we get to know each other just as we would if we were in the classroom together. To promote a human connection online we will use forums to discuss topics together. For this first discussion board forum, we will introduce ourselves to one another. It is important that each of us realizes that there is a human associated with the various emails, posts, activities, etc. This is a requirement of the course and is not an option.
For this activity, please write at least a two-paragraph introduction about yourself. You should include information about your background (maybe why you chose to take this class), your hobbies, and/or something you don’t mind sharing about yourself with your other classmates.
If you would like, you may also attach a photograph or picture to accompany your introduction. It does not need to be a professional portrait- a selfie is just fine.
